Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our clinical team. You will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures, operate complex analyzers, and ensure quality control to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in medical laboratory science, is comfortable collaborating with nursing and care teams, and is committed to patient-focused service in a Jacksonville, FL hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in medical laboratory/clinical laboratory science or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Less than one year trainee/student experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of medical laboratory procedures requiring technical knowledge and skill.
• Operate complicated laboratory analyzers to provide data for treatment and diagnosis.
