USA Health is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team in Mobile. The role supports compliance, patient care, instrument maintenance, and blood collection as needed, under the supervision of the department.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Medical Technology and are ASCP Registry eligible upon hire; substitution with related education/experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with major course work in Medical Technology.
• ASCP Registry eligible as MT/MLS upon hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Abides by and enforces all compliance requirements and policies; acts ethically.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to hospital policies.
• Maintains regular attendance and a defined schedule, including overtime and on-call as required.
• Operates LIS/HIS/PC programs and maintains instruments.
• Draws blood specimens from patients when required.
