Qualifications

• B.S. or A.S. degree in medical technology with certification.
• Certification through ASCP/AMT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood tests and morphology studies.
• Obtains blood, urine, and sputum specimens from patients.
• Sets up and maintains laboratory equipment and reagents.
• Performs quality control and calibration procedures.
• Posts results to hospital departments and communicates with pathologists.
• Adheres to safety procedures and shifts as assigned.
