Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Medical Technologist to perform accurate, timely laboratory testing of patient specimens.

You will work with the lab team to maintain turnaround times, apply knowledge of LIS and instrument interrelationships, and supervise staff as needed.

Requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, national board registration within one year of hire, and good communication with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent status.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer information systems desirable.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks with precision to meet turnaround times.
• Ability to perform complex analyses and understand techniques, instruments, and their interrelationships.
• Strong problem-solving and supervisory capabilities when required.
• Excellent interpersonal communications with physicians, staff and the public.
