Responsibilities

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist to join our team. This full-time position involves working overnight shifts to ensure the highest quality of patient care and laboratory services. The Clinical Laboratory Technologist Generalist is responsible for performance of diagnostic procedures in the area for which they are assigned. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in areas that they are licensed. This individual helps maintain an excellent rapport between Laboratory staff and other hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) preferred.
• FL Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
