Qualifications

• Education, Certification & Licensure:
  • Pathway I: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science; ASCP eligible; preferred certifications include ASCP and AMT.
  • Pathway II: High School Diploma or GED; Biological Science degree; NAACLS accredited program; eligible for certification; preferred certifications include ASCP and AMT.
  • Pathway III: High School Diploma or GED; Military Medical Laboratory Training; Biological Science degree; eligible for certification; preferred certifications include ASCP, AMT.
  • Pathway IV: High School Diploma or GED; related laboratory training; Biological Science degree; eligible for certification; preferred certifications include ASCP and AMT.
• Experience:
  • Preferred: One or more years in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, or Urinalysis in accredited labs.
