UnityPoint Health seeks a Medical Technologist for the Laboratory- Downtown department. Evenings 4-10hr shifts (1400-0030) with rotating weekends and holidays, performing procedures according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
The MT will interpret QC results, perform instrument maintenance, assist with repairs/validations, and collect specimens from outpatients. Requires a strong attention to detail and compliance with lab SOPs.

Responsible for working within the established guidelines of the Laboratory Department as assigned. As a professional, the MT is responsible for carrying out the philosophy and objectives defined by regulatory requirements and hospital standard operating procedures. Foremost among these responsibilities are strictly adhering to detail in the technical performance of laboratory procedures, solving practical and analytical problems, resolving conflict, and implementing constructive change.
