You will operate instrumentation, monitor quality control, investigate discrepancies, and communicate critical results to support safe patient care.

Florida licensure as a Medical Technologist and ASCP certification are required, with BLS as well; a minimum of one year of MT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida Medical Technologist license required.
• ASCP Certification required.
• Minimum of one year medical technologist experience preferred.
• BLS American Heart Association certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of laboratory testing across multiple disciplines (chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, blood bank, etc.).
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and evaluate quality control data.
• Investigate testing discrepancies and communicate critical results to support safe patient care.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses and laboratory staff to maintain efficient operations and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times and adhere to accreditation standards.
