Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor complex diagnostic laboratory testing to support clinical decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analyze, interpret, verify, and report accurate laboratory test results in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Interpret and validates test results prior to release.
• Perform advanced instrument calibration and maintenance procedures.
• Investigate abnormal or inconsistent test results and determine root cause.
• Develops and monitors quality control and quality assurance processes.
• Reviews and updates standard operating procedures.
• Trains and mentors junior laboratory staff and students.
• Maintains inventory and appropriate storage conditions.
• Handles and disposes reagents, chemical, and medical waste according to institutional and regulatory safety standards.
