Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Canonsburg, PA is seeking Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to perform complex laboratory tests for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. You will verify analytic accuracy and operate laboratory instrumentation to ensure high-quality results.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, ability to work afternoon/night shifts, and ASCP Board Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist;

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Medical Technology or a directly related field.
• Must be able to work independently on afternoon and night shifts.
• Must have ASCP Board Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
• If applicable, must possess an ICHP VisaScreen Certificate.

Canonsburg General Hospital seeks Medical Technologists (Multiple Openings) to work at Canonsburg General Hospital in Canonsburg, PA, and perform complex medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Duties include, among others: (i) performing routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information; (ii) verifying analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and linearity for clinical tests; and (iii) operating, calibrating, checking and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Medical Technology or a directly related field. Must also be able to work independently on afternoon and night shifts as well as possess an ICHP VisaScreen Certificate, if applicable. Must also have American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Board Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist.
