Job summary

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree or experience required by certification entity. Not required for MTs with Health & Human Services certification given prior to 1987.

Minimum Work Experience

No previous experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Completion of formal training program in an approved MT, MLS, or MLT program

Registered as a MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP),or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.
