The Bureau of Water Supply seeks to hire a Administrative Manager (NM) for a position with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Division within Core Services Directorate located in Valhalla and Kingston, NY.
The mission of the Bureau of Water Supply (BWS) Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Directorate is to actively promote and support the management and implementation of EHS programs through effective communication, education and continuous improvement strategies to protect public health and natural resources and ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all employees.
Under general direction, of the Director of Environmental Health and Safety, the Administrative Manager (NM) will serve as the Medical Surveillance Program Manager and will to plan, coordinate, and manage the Medical Surveillance Program and associated contracts for the Bureau of Water Supply. Administrative Managers may be required to work shifts including nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

candidates must possess the 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described in "1", "2" or "3" above. Education above the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative experience (but not for the administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience described in "1", "2" or "3" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½ years.
