Experience

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details

Required Credentials:PALS preferred/optional for the first contract, but must be attained if extending beyond 13 weeks.

Unit Details:Patient ratios: Tele/pediatrics 1:4, SDU 1:3, med surg 1:5.Uses Omnicell.No IV team, lift team, or transportation support; pharmacy, phlebotomy, and unit secretary available 24/7.Hospitalist coverage 24/7; intensivist consult available 24/7 as needed.Very rarely will do bedside chest tubes.

Shift & Scheduling:On-call depending on census.Weekend rotation: full-time staff work 2 weekend shifts per pay period; part-time staff work 1 weekend shift per pay period.

Floating Requirements:You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
