Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Assist with patient-care activities: obtaining vital signs, performing wound care, intake/output, specimen collection, and other tasks under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Perform or assist with nutritional/hydration interventions (feeding, providing fluids, or snacks).
• Supports optimal daily operation of the department by performing tasks associated with general unit organization and cleanliness, maintaining department supplies, and clerical duties.
• Initiate and maintain hygiene/cleanliness of patients, patient’s environment, and unit environment.
• Assist with transportation of patients and use appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
• Contribute to overall department performance and participate proactively in problem solving initiatives.
• Float to other departments as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
