Job summary

Baptist Nassau is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Team in Fernandina Beach, FL. This full-time night position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to contribute to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with physicians and hospital staff to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. A RN license and BLS are required, with ASN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic illnesses or injuries.
• Uphold the hospital mission and provide patient education about disease processes and care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their disease and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments to coordinate care.
• Advocate for patients and participate in unit meetings and activities.
