Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Riverton, WY, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical/Surgical on day shifts in an acute care setting. You will perform assessments, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), active RN license, BLS, ACLS, CPI certification as policy requires, and at least 6 months of Medical/Surgical experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments and reassessments to determine nursing care needs.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy and physician orders.
• Documents assessments, interventions, outcomes, and patient education timely and accurately.
• Provides direct care including ADLs, hygiene, nutrition, and mobility support.
• Monitors patient conditions and communicates significant changes to the care team.
