Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to lead and expand Banner's Neurosciences Program while maintaining a busy clinical practice. This role combines patient care with 0.1 cFTE leadership focused on building an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program in collaboration with Banner MD Anderson and the broader neuroscience network.

Ideal candidates will have fellowship training in Neurosurgical Oncology, leadership or program development

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in Neurosurgical Oncology.
• Previous leadership, program development, or administrative experience preferred.
• Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Commitment to academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a busy clinical neurosurgical practice (0.9 cFTE).
• Provide protected leadership time (0.1 cFTE) for program development.
• Lead creation of an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program.
• Engage in resident and fellow education and research.

Banner University Medical Group Phoenix, in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to serve as a key physician leader in the expansion of Banner's Neurosciences Program.

This unique role combines a busy clinical neurosurgical practice (0.9 cFTE) with protected leadership responsibilities (0.1 cFTE) focused on developing an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program in collaboration with Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and Banner's comprehensive neuroscience network.
