Job summary

Chrysalis is seeking a caregiver/driver in North Las Vegas to transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments while managing care for at-risk adults with intellectual disabilities. You will fax prescriptions, fill them locally, maintain vehicles, and update medical histories.

You will record physicians’ notes, complete mandated administrative tasks, and uphold strict confidentiality. Training includes CPR/First Aid and OSHA; driving policy must be followed.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with employees and clients.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to record doctor notes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; basic email usage.

Responsibilities

Other duties as assigned by the Medical Coordinator

Experience or Education:

• High school diploma or GED, need to be able to drive company vehicles- 21 years old with no minor traffic violations or at least 22 years old with up to 2 minor traffic violations

Training and Certifications:

• Complete all initial and on-going training requirements within established time frames
• Complete annual CPR, First Aid, and OSHA training
• Obtain and maintain SOAR certification
• Pass Criminal History Check
• Meet Chrysalis driving policy requirements
• Maintain a valid driver’s license, must be at least 21 years of age
