Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Delivery Driver for its MedTrans private fleet. The role involves operating parcel vans or straight trucks to deliver lifesaving medical products to commercial and residential customers, while maintaining safety and building positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route communication, and keeping logs per federal/state rules. Anticipated hourly pay ranges from $19.75 to $28.75 with a robust benefits package for 30+ hour

Qualifications

• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a parcel van and/or straight truck.
• Safely operate a parcel van and/or straight truck between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing questions and needs and providing documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding route or schedule adjustments to meet customer needs.
• Maintain travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
