Job summary

Drexel University College of Medicine is seeking a learning support professional to provide direct support and develop resources for DUCOM students. You will lead individual counseling and group workshops focusing on study skills, time management, and transition to medical education.

Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, coordinating intervention plans, and maintaining up-to-date learning resources on Canvas for campus-wide access and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to refer students to mental health resources.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual supportive counseling to medical students and develop expertise with at-risk students.
• Create, deliver, and assess small group discussions and workshops on study topics.
• Meet with students individually and in groups to consult on strategies and schedules.
• Assess students with academic difficulty and develop intervention plans.
• Monitor tracking for students experiencing academic difficulty.
• Develop and maintain learning resources and Canvas content for students.
