Qualifications

• 3 years Medical Staff or Administrative Services experience (may combine years in an accredited Medical Staff Services Science Program).
• Coursework/Training: Two years of college, preferably in medical staff or medical records science.
• Upon hire: CPMSM or CPCS certification from NAMSS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical staff activities under general supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMA, State, Federal and other regulatory requirements affecting medical staff.
• Process initial applications, reappointments, verification and follow-up.
• Maintain medical staff proctoring system and documentation of OPPE/FPPE review.
