ScribeAmerica seeks motivated medical scribes to work on-site with doctors, documenting patient visits in real time, recording history, exams, tests and prescriptions.

Where You’ll Work

As an on‑site medical scribe, you could work in a variety of healthcare settings—from doctor’s offices to emergency departments. With over 80 specialties nationwide, we’ll match you to the best fit based on your schedule, interests, and location.

• Outpatient (Doctor’s Office): Typically weekday hours (around 8–5, Monday–Friday), with some offices offering evening or weekend shifts. Ideal if you prefer a consistent routine.
• Emergency Department: Open 24/7. Great for those who need flexibility or are balancing school and other commitments.

Schedule Options

• Part‑time (2–3 shifts per week).
• Full‑time (3–4 shifts per week). Shifts are usually 8 hours but can vary depending on site needs.
• Monday – Friday shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proof of vaccinations (may be required).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day.
• Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training).
