Job summary

Hemab is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the Western US. You will serve as Hemab's scientific connection to clinicians, investigators and the bleeding-disorder community across your territory, informing clinical and medical strategies with field insights.

You will build peer-level relationships, support site activation and recruitment, and translate complex coagulation science into balanced scientific exchange for diverse audiences. Travel across the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an MSL or scientific liaison.
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with investigators and healthcare professionals.
• Experience supporting clinical trials, site engagement, activation or recruitment.
• Scientific depth to explain complex data to varied audiences.
• Based in Western US with ability to travel across the territory.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, peer-level scientific relationships with investigators, clinicians and other experts across US bleeding-disorder and academic treatment centers.
• Turn field insight into input for Hemab's clinical and medical teams, including study design, endpoints and evidence-generation plans.
• Help drive SOLARA site activation and investigator engagement across your territory.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs on site feasibility, recruitment and study delivery.
• Translate complex coagulation science and emerging clinical data into clear, balanced scientific exchange for different audiences.
• Build Hemab's field medical ways of working in the US.
• Work with patient organizations and professional societies on disease education and awareness.
• Maintain high standards of scientific integrity and compliant scientific exchange across every external interaction.

These are therapies designed to work with the body's own biology and stop bleeds before they start, instead of treating them after they happen. The role

As Medical Science Liaison for the Western US, you'll be Hemab's scientific connection to clinicians, investigators and the wider bleeding-disorder community across your territory. With sutacimig advancing toward Phase 3 in Glanzmann Thrombasthenia, alongside HMB-002 and HMB-003 in earlier clinical development, what you learn in the field will directly inform how our teams develop these programs and work with the centers treating patients.

What you'll bring to Hemab

• Significant experience as an MSL or scientific liaison, with evidence that your field insights have influenced clinical or medical decisions.
• Experience building credible scientific relationships with investigators and healthcare professionals.
• Experience supporting clinical trials, including site engagement, feasibility, activation or recruitment.
• The scientific depth to understand complex clinical data and make it clear to different audiences.
• Based in Colorado, California or Arizona, with the ability to travel extensively across your territory and the wider US.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.

Nice to have

• Experience in hematology, bleeding disorders, rare disease or immunology.
• Existing relationships with US hemophilia treatment centers, academic centers or bleeding-disorder experts.
• Experience in a growing biotech where you've built your own field materials and ways of working.

What to expect, honestly

Hemab is still building a lot of its own structure. Systems here tend to get created as we need them, not handed down in advance. Whoever takes this role will likely build some of their own process instead of inheriting a finished one. We work across two hubs and multiple time zones - bridging that well takes real, deliberate effort. And because we're growing quickly, priorities can shift with less notice than they would at a larger, more established company.
