Job summary

AbbVie in Quebec is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to advance scientific credibility with external experts and internal stakeholders. This role involves developing and nurturing relationships, and providing key medical information on request.

You will support investigator-initiated studies, clinical projects, and advisory activities, while traveling roughly 50% and maintaining rigorous scientific standards in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an advanced degree (Doctorate, PharmD or MD).
• Experience in a customer-facing healthcare role; biotech/pharma knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of scientific methods and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain key scientific knowledge for credible dissemination to external experts and HCPs.
• Participate in IIS, clinical studies and medical projects in the therapeutic area.
• Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts/academic centers.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to HCPs, individually or in groups.
• Identify qualified HCPs for collaboration (advisory boards, meetings, etc.).
• Attend scientific meetings and develop summaries of key data presented.
