Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical company to hire Medical Science Liaisons with hepatology experience in Los Angeles, CA. This field-based medical affairs role extends scientific support to healthcare professionals and KOLs, contributing to the advancement of therapies in liver disease.

You will develop relationships, share non-promotional data, inform medical strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while traveling within the territory.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or related).
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Field Medical, MSL, or related role.
• Strong understanding of hepatology or liver disease.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

We’re partnering with a leading biopharmaceutical organization to expand its Field Medical team and are hiring Medical Science Liaisons with hepatology experience in Los Angeles, CA.

*Open to candidates with strong academic/clinical OR medical affairs hepatology experience!*

This is an exciting opportunity for a field-based medical affairs professional to serve as a trusted scientific resource for healthcare professionals, engage with key opinion leaders, and support the advancement of innovative therapies in liver disease.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with key healthcare professionals and thought leaders in hepatology
• Engage in high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange regarding disease states, clinical data, and emerging treatment approaches
• Serve as a field-based scientific expert and resource for internal cross-functional teams
• Gather and communicate relevant insights from the medical community to inform medical strategy
• Support scientific engagement initiatives, congresses, advisory boards, and other medical activities
• Stay current on the evolving hepatology treatment landscape and relevant clinical research

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or related)
• Previous experience in Medical Affairs, Field Medical, MSL, or a related scientific role
• Strong understanding of hepatology, liver disease, or related therapeutic areas
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively engage with KOLs and healthcare professionals
• Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
