Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to build and maintain relationships with academic leaders and HCPs in the Washington, DC area. You will present scientific information, respond to complex questions, and support CRO-sponsored studies in a compliant, ethical manner.

The role requires disease-area knowledge, experience communicating scientific data to physicians, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Disease-area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications.
• Knowledge of scientific/clinical area and competitive landscape.
• Understanding of HEOR concepts and national healthcare environment.
• Clinical trial design/process and ability to translate data for physicians.
• Excellent English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with academic leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders in assigned geography.
• Present accurate scientific information through multiple channels while adhering to ethics and guidelines.
• Assess medical landscape by meeting with TLs/HCPs and update knowledge on clinical trials and treatments.
• Identify partnership opportunities with HCPs aligned with objectives and support medical programs.
• Attend congresses and regional meetings; communicate insights to medical and commercial teams.
• Develop field Medical plans and contribute to institution/account planning.

Education

MD/PharmD/PhD/APP/PA/NP with relevant pharma experience
