Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support innovative targeted oncology therapies, including intra-arterial gemcitabine delivery via RenovoCath. The role focuses on building scientific relationships with oncology healthcare professionals and educating on TAMP technology while gathering clinical insights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in life sciences required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as an MSL, preferably in GI oncology with drug-device experience.
• Strong knowledge of NCCN/ASCO guidelines and clinical practice.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and independent work abilities.

Responsibilities

Role

Medical Science Liaison (MSL) supporting innovative targeted oncology therapies, including intra-arterial gemcitabine delivery via RenovoCath.

Objectives

build scientific relationships with oncology healthcare professionals, educate on TAMP technology, gather clinical insights, and support clinical development.

Responsibilities

• develop peer-to-peer relationships with oncologists across medical, surgical, and radiation specialties
• deliver compliant medical education and training
• participate in scientific meetings and congresses
• collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D) to align messaging and strategies
• collect and synthesize field insights to inform company strategies

Requirements

• Master's degree in life sciences
• at least 5 years as an MSL, preferably in GI medical oncology supporting drug-device combos or delivery systems
• deep knowledge of oncology guidelines (NCCN, ASCO), emerging therapies, and clinical practices
• excellent communication skills, relationship-building, and ability to work independently
• proficiency with CRM tools

Preferred

• advanced degrees (PhD, PharmD, MD)
• experience with biomarker technologies (ctDNA, oncolytic viruses, CAR-T)
• familiarity with clinical trial stages (Phase III)

Work setup
