Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Medical Affairs professional in Charlotte, NC to build scientific relationships with KOLs, develop medical strategy, and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries. Requirements include an advanced degree (PharmD/MD/PhD) and 2+ years of relevant clinical experience; MSL/Medical Affairs background is preferred, with strong educator and presentation skills.

  • 2+ years of clinical experience in anti-infective or urology areas.
  • MSL/Medical Affairs experience preferred.
  • Evidence of established training/education/presentation skills.
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific data to clinical practice.

In this role, you will confer with internal stakeholders and build new collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders, policymakers, and advocates. You’ll contribute cutting-edge clinical and scientific data to help move healthcare forward and positively impact patients. You will:

  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships with KOLs while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice as it relates to areas of interest.
  • Plan and execute medical strategy and engagement for appropriate assigned customer
  • Serve as the primary resource to provide support for addressing unsolicited medical questions and other scientific exchange matters.
  • Identify, gather, and document field generated scientific insights to drive innovative Medical Affairs strategies while complying with industry and corporate policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • PharmD or PhD, DNP, or MD required
  • 2 or more years’ clinical experience anti-infective or urology experience
  • MSL or Medical Affairs experience preferred
  • Evidence of established, strong training/educator/presentation skills
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen
  • Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and realize the potential impact of that data on clinical practice and potential research needs
