Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking an entry-level Medical Records Clerk in Bethel, AK for a part-time role (30 hours/week). Responsibilities include pulling and filing charts, shredding, archiving records, receptionist duties, screening, scheduling, scanning and filing.

Training on the job will be provided; a high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates should have basic computer skills (Word and Excel) and must pass the Records Custodian Class within 12 months of hire (75%+).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. On-the-job training provided.
• Good computer skills in Word and Excel; training on the job.
• Filing, medical records handling, archiving, reception, screening, appointments, scanning.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and filing charts and shredding records.
• Archive and organize medical records.
• Assist in reception, screening and scheduling appointments.
• Scan and file loose documents; general filing duties.

Position Summary

This is an entry-level position in the Medical Records. Responsible for pulling & filing charts, shredding, archiving medical records, reception, screening, appointments, scanning and loose filing.

Position Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Computer Knowledge Filing or medical records experience preferred but will train on the job Printers, Copiers, Fax machines, Paper Shredders Once hired, must successfully pass (75% or higher) Records Custodian Class within 12 months from date of hire Good computer skills in Word and Excel programs
