Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville, TN. The role directs the written and electronic medical records program and supervises staff to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory Medical Records experience, CPR certification, and EMR familiarity. Must be able to obtain a security clearance and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years’ supervisory experience in Medical Records setting preferred.
• Current CPR Certification
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, coordinate and administer the written and electronic medical records program.
• Supervise the medical records staff and maintain the confidentiality of the health care records.
• Oversee department operations and ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor to join our team at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution located in Nashville, Tennessee.The Medical Records Supervisor will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and electronic medical records program. The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record.
