Job summary

Maryland Treatment Centers is seeking PRN registered nurses in Baltimore to provide comprehensive nursing care across various clinical programs. Responsibilities include medical record keeping, direct patient care, and crisis intervention, all while documenting needs and communicating effectively with patients.

Minimum requirements include an AA in Nursing, MD licensure, and at least 1 year of experience. Bonus points for RTC experience or mental health/substance abuse background.

Qualifications

• AA degree in Nursing is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Maryland nursing license required or eligible for MD licensure.

Job description

We feature specialty services for young adults and adults. Clinical programs include assessment, residential/inpatient, detoxification, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, special education and prevention services. We are currently searching for PRN (as needed) Nurses in our Baltimore location! LPN or RN welcomed to apply! Shift availability is Monday-Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Day & Evening Shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Medical record keeping
• General nursing care to patients
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and document the needs of patients
• Demonstrates appropriate and effective verbal communication with patients
• Responds effectively and appropriately in crisis

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 21 Years of Age
• AA degree in Nursing
• 1 Year of experience
• Nurses must be licensed through the state of Maryland Department of Health and Hygiene.
• Good organizational and documentation skills
