Qualifications

• Three (3) years working knowledge of computers or demonstrated technical aptitude.
• Previous Medical Records Clerk experience (minimum of 1 year)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Must have a valid state driver\'s license and personal vehicle liability insurance with 100/300/100 limits
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Identify and properly identify, complete, and sign all forms.
• Enter all necessary information into the system.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain information.
• May assign codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Follow policies with some discretion within defined parameters.
