Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to maintain and manage resident records in a long-term care setting. You will ensure accuracy from pre-admission through post-discharge and collaborate with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and regulatory bodies.

Ideal candidates hold RHIA or RHIT credentials and have at least two years of LTC/SNF/AL/MC records experience, with ICD coding knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resident medical records in accordance with State and Federal regulations, professional standards of practice, and company policies and procedures

Job description

  • Maintain resident medical records in accordance with State and Federal regulations, professional standards of practice, and company policies and procedures

Requirements
