Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and to support efficient office operations and excellent patient care.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, answer calls, collect payments, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience. This role emphasizes compassionate service and accurate information handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• No professional licensure required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical/physician office or customer service environment preferred.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Serves as a first point of contact for external customers in the office and on the phone, as well as a liaison between external customers and medical staff. Greets, instructs and assists customers in obtaining needed services within the office and IHA. Obtains and communicates necessary patient and office visit information to billing staff and facilitates efficient patient flow through the office and appropriate billing for services.

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of experience in a medical or physician office or customer service environment preferred.
