Job summary

Crossroads Treatment Centers in Virginia seeks a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, check them in, collect payments, and support daily operations with a warm, professional attitude. You will guide new patients through intake, coordinate with clinical staff, and handle clerical duties in a busy outpatient setting.

You will contribute to accurate records while helping maintain a compassionate, accessible program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, or office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and process payments with a friendly, professional attitude.

Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist

• Responsible for providing excellent customer service checking in patients, receiving payments, and assisting in daily operations.
• Maintain friendly, professional attitude towards patients, offer a "white glove" experience.
• Provide an exceptional experience by guiding new patients through their intake process.
• Collect urine and saliva samples for patient drug screens as needed
• Maintains daily financial records and reports
• Coordinates with medical and clinical staff to coordinate intakes
• Provides clerical and logistical support
• Oversees patient accounts and financial responsibilities

Education And Experience Requirements

• At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service experience in a fast paced environment preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, addiction medicine, office administration preferred.
• Lived Addiction experience is a plus.

Schedule

Schedule listed below outline operating hours. Additional time can be earned to perform administrative tasks.

• Monday; 9:00am - 2:00pm
• Tuesday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Wednesday; 8:00am - 1:00pm
• Thursday; 1:00pm - 5:00pm
• Friday; 1:00pm - 5:00pm
