RadNet in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a patient service representative to join a dedicated radiology team. You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, schedule appointments, and guide patients through prep and safety protocols while upholding privacy and high service standards.

In a fast-paced clinical setting, you will collaborate with back-office staff to ensure timely care, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience across our imaging centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and office software.
• Experience in a medical or radiology setting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and complete documentation.
• Collect co-pays and fees; answer/transfer calls; schedule appointments.
• Provide orientation on prep and safety protocols and direct patients as needed.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely patient care and accurate records.
• Safeguard patient privacy and on-site medications per policy.

When you join usas a Patient Service Representative , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
• Collect and log all co-pays and fees
• Answer/transfer incoming phone calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary.
• Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
• Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• High School Diploma or GED
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Experience providing exceptional customer service
• Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Pay Range:

$23.00 – $23.00 per hour
