Job summary

AMN Healthcare in Las Cruces, NM seeks an Interventional Radiology physician for locums tenens coverage ASAP. The assignment includes Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Vascular & Interventional Radiology modalities with night, weekend, and day coverage as scheduled.

Credentialing takes about 30 days with temporary privileges available. NM license and board eligibility required; fellowship preferred and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Board-certification path or eligibility in radiology.
• Licensure in New Mexico required or eligible to obtain license.
• Fellowship in Radiology subspecialty preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Interventional Radiology coverage as per call schedule.
• Perform diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, and vascular/interventional procedures as required.
• Coordinate credentialing and privileges for temporary assignment.

This facility is seeking an Diagnostic Radiology Physician locums tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Job Settings: Inpatient
• Modalities: Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular & Interventional Radiology.
• Shift/Schedule/Hours: Night Call: 5:30 PM - 9:00 AM, Weekend Call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (24-hour call), Day Coverage: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM on select dates, Beeper call with 30-minute response time
• Dates Needed: As soon as possible (ASAP) start; ongoing coverage through end of 2026; Immediate 24-hour call coverage needed: 10/17, 10/18, 10/31, 11/1, 11/7, 11/8, 11/14, 11/15, 12/5, 12/6, 12/12, 12/13, 12/19, and 12/20

Day Coverage (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM):

• Oct 28, 29, 30
• Nov 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30
• Dec 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28

Credentialing Timeframe:

• Approximately 30 days; temporary privileges available.

Certifications Required:

• New Mexico License, Board Eligible (minimum); Fellowship preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
