Job summary

Silver Palm Health Psych places psychologists and behavioral health specialists directly into top-tier medical environments such as skilled nursing facilities, inpatient units, long-term care, and hospitals in Miami, FL. This role offers hands-on medical psychology experience within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on evidence-based care.

The Clinical Psychologist will be embedded in a medical rehabilitation facility, providing leadership and psychological expertise within a unit

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program.
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in Florida.
• Experience or strong interest in medical psychology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions for medically complex adult populations.
• Conduct brief psychological assessments and support treatment planning.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Participate in rounds and case conferences to align on patient care.
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with clinical and billing standards.
• Engage in ongoing peer consultation and performance feedback.
