Qualifications

• Master’s degree in medical physics or ABR certification.
• ABR Part I and II exams completed with certification within 3 years of hire.
• One year of experience as a Medical Physicist in a cancer treatment setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee brachytherapy safety, procedural accuracy, and documentation.
• Ensure commissioning, calibration, and ongoing performance of radiation therapy equipment.
• Support NRC documentation and Radiation Safety Committee activities; review departmental policies.
