Reviews OSU radiation treatment charts and instructs personnel in principles and regulations related to radiation therapy physics, dosimetry and radiation protection. **This position is dedicated to supporting outpatient cancer care services.****Position Summary** Under indirect supervision, provides professional medical physics services at the Department of Radiation Oncology (or its outreach/affiliates) of the Medical Center. Evaluates and interprets medical radiation treatment prescriptions. Collaborates with medical providers in the design and modification of effective radiation treatments for patients; oversees and monitors treatment plans developed by Dosimetrists, and participates in development and execution of equipment monitoring, calibration, and safety surveys. Provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy; monitor patients; maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality measurement, and safety; perform clinical research as required.**Minimum Qualifications**Master's of Science Degree with Math and Physics concentration. American Board of Radiology Certification or equivalent within three years of hire. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
