Job summary

Elekta in the United States is seeking a Medical Physicist to advance early development and continuous improvements of Elekta solutions in radiation oncology. You translate clinical needs into product improvements and collaborate with customers and internal teams.

As a radiation therapy subject matter expert, you advocate best practices, optimize workflows, and support go-to-market strategies. You will travel domestically and internationally to support pilots and customer sites.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required, and a Masters is preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in clinical radiation oncology.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth insights into customer requirements and be the voice of the customer during vision and roadmaps.
• Manage key customers with product management, Alpha/Beta sites, and pilots support.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to define, test and refine features based on real-world use.
• Define and maintain end-to-end workflows scalable across sites and geographies.
• Assess performance of new developments through reviews and early validation using metrics.
• Maintain cross-portfolio alignment to strengthen Elekta’s value propositions.
• Contribute to collection and analysis of customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Disseminate clinical knowledge across Elekta to increase clinical awareness.
• Support go-to-market strategies (sales education, demos, feedback collection).
• Be a trusted advisor and effective communicator between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Be a role model of Elekta Values.
