Job summary

Works at the clinic site in collaboration with the Cancer Care Leadership to ensure high quality and safe interpretation, delivery, operation, and monitoring of radiation safety policies, procedures, standards, and equipment for Radiation Oncology Services.

Responsible for ensuring delivery of high-quality radiation therapy while providing staff with the proper education and training and oversight to minimize radiation exposure. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family‑Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co‑workers.

Open Positions
  • Clinical Transition and Implementation Physicist – Up to 50% travel. M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or closely related field required. Minimum of 2 years post‑graduate physics experience in a program of similar size with computerized treatment planning and comparable computerized simulator/accelerator. Experience with linear accelerators, surface guidance, EMR and R&V systems, HDR afterloaders, treatment planning systems, ion chambers, electrometers and image analysis software.
  • Sr. Medical Physicist – Casa Grande, AZ (Onsite) – Relocation assistance. M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Medical Physics or related field. Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience plus a CAMPEP‑accredited residency. Certificate in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent preferred. Experience with HDR and stereotactic radiosurgery programs preferred.
  • Sr. Medical Physicist – Savannah, GA (Onsite) – Relocation assistance. M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Medical Physics or related field. Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience plus a CAMPEP‑accredited residency. Certificate in Radiation Oncology Physics by the ABR or equivalent preferred. Experience with HDR and stereotactic radiosurgery programs preferred. Computer‑system administration experience with patient record and verify database applications desirable.
  • Medical Physicist – Yakima, WA (Onsite) – Relocation assistance. M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Medical Physics or related field. Minimum 3 years clinical experience plus a CAMPEP‑accredited residency. Certificate in Radiation Oncology Physics by the ABR or equivalent preferred. Experience with HDR and stereotactic radiosurgery programs preferred. Computer‑system administration experience with patient record and verify database applications desirable.
  • Sr. Medical Physicist – Lancaster, OH (Hybrid) – Relocation assistance. M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred) in Medical Physics or related field. Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience plus a CAMPEP‑accredited residency. Certificate in Radiation Oncology Physics by the ABR or equivalent preferred. Experience with HDR and stereotactic radiosurgery programs preferred. Computer‑system administration experience with patient record and verify database applications desirable.
  • Medical Physicist – Commissioning – M.S. in Medical Physics or related field required. Minimum 3 years in a physics role in clinical medical physics. Certificate in Radiation Oncology Physics by the ABR or equivalent preferred. Travel 50–75 %.

Candidates who are not certified must be eligible for board certification and must achieve this status within 3 years of hire.
