This position is full time, on-site at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital/MGB in Dover, NH.
Summary: Supervises dosimetrists and radiation therapists in treatment planning and devises methods to apply laws and theories of physics to radiation medicine.

Education Master's Degree Medical Physics required or Doctorate Medical Physics required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Clinical experience 2-3 years required and Experience in treatment planning and planning systems, particularly RayStation 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - An understanding of radiation physics, anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, and radiation safety. - Knowledgeable in health care informatics-including the resources, devices and methods to acquire, store and retrieve data. - Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate the exchange of information with patients, family members, and the radiation oncology treatment team as well as outside entities. - Good basic computer skills.
