Qualifications

• OD degree and Texas license (or pending)
• Willingness to obtain Texas Optometric Glaucoma Specialist (OGS) designation
• Interest in medical optometry and ocular disease management
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to collaborate with ophthalmologists and staff
• New graduates and experienced optometrists welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide full-scope optometric care
• Diagnose, manage, and monitor ocular diseases
• Provide contact lens services, including specialty lenses
• Co-manage cataract and other surgical patients
• Participate in perioperative care and collaborate with ophthalmologists
• Manage a variety of medical eye conditions
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term eye health
• Work with physicians to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care
