Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologist to join a collaborative team of oncologists at a Joint Commission-certified medical center in Augusta, GA. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with minimal call responsibilities and encompasses patient care across various cancer types, including gastrointestinal and breast oncology.

Successful candidates will receive generous support with administrative tasks and recruitment, as well as assistance with licensing and interviews. The ideal oncologist will have a fellowship in medical oncology and experience in clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in medical oncology, preferably with a solid tumor focus.
• Experience with clinical trials and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in gastrointestinal, lung, or breast oncology with a solid tumor focus.
• Participate in clinical trials and research activities.
• Collaborate with the support team including APPs and NPs.
