Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care in Laconia, NH is seeking two board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncologists to help build a new medical oncology practice in the Lakes Region. Providers will collaborate with Medical and Radiation Oncology colleagues and surgical specialists to deliver state-of-the-art cancer care close to home.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine.
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology (ABIM).
• Eligible for licensure in New Hampshire.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based cancer care.
• Participate in weekly tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives.

Build the Future of Cancer Care in the Lakes Region

Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care is seeking two exceptional board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncologists to play a pivotal role in developing a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of cancer care in a community with a significant and increasing need for oncology services. Providers will collaborate clinically with closely-aligned independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as Concord Hospital Medical Group surgical specialists to provide state-of-the oncology care in Central New Hampshire.

The Payson Center for Cancer Care is proudly accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. Our program delivers fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer care, bringing together medical, radiation, and surgical oncology alongside oncology-trained nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists; ensuring patients receive seamless, compassionate, and cutting-edge treatment close to home.

Position Highlights

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology, including evaluation, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with a highly engaged multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.
• Actively participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives.
• Contribute to program growth, quality improvement, and service line development within a respected Cancer Center.
• Engage in clinical trials and help advance innovative oncology care.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient advocacy.
