Olympic Medical Center Foundation is seeking a Medical Office Nurse Coordinator for our specialty clinic in Sequim. The role involves coordinating nursing care in the outpatient setting under physicians or ARNP/PA-C supervision, assessing patient needs, and delivering patient teaching while upholding nursing standards.

One year in ambulatory clinics and CPR certification are required; RN licensure in WA is essential. The position includes a 5,000 retention incentive and day shifts.

Qualifications

• RN required in ambulatory outpatient setting.
• BSN or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in an ambulatory medical clinic.
• Experience with oncology/urology/OB-GYN clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements concerning his or her age-specific needs. Advocates for patient centered care. Provides the care needed in accordance with the department policies and procedures. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the outpatient clinical setting. Demonstrates the values contained in the Olympic Medical Center mission and philosophy statements. Supports and promotes a positive image of professional nursing. ***EDUCATION*** RN required.
