Responsibilities

Conduct pre-litigation investigation of claims.
Attend and conduct initial investigative meetings with clients and witnesses.
Communicate effectively with clients and attorneys to understand goals and defenses.
Strategize with medical experts and other professionals.
Analyze medical records and prepare discovery responses.
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for various legal issues.
Attend hearings and advocate for clients.
Defend and take depositions of clients, opposing parties, experts.
Negotiate settlements, including mediation.
Conduct legal and medical research affecting defense strategy.
Interact with courts, counsel, experts, mediators.
Mentor and delegate to support staff.
