Job summary

Orion Placement in Concord, NH is seeking a litigation attorney to manage medical malpractice defense matters from intake to resolution. The role offers on-site work 3–4 days per week with potential hybrid flexibility after ramp-up, exposure to a busy caseload, and meaningful client contact.

You will work with seasoned partners, paralegals, and clients on active litigation matters, with opportunities for leadership as the practice grows. Strong academics and NH bar admission are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of litigation experience and court appearances.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing files, depositions, and trial work.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials preferred.
• NH admission and medical malpractice defense experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical malpractice defense matters from intake through resolution.
• Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, court appearances, motions, and case strategy.
• Work directly with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and clients on active litigation matters.
• Communicate with healthcare clients, insurers, and other stakeholders regarding case status and strategy.
• Take ownership of files with mentorship and resources from an experienced team.
• Contribute to a growing practice with leadership opportunities.

Location

This role is based in Concord, New Hampshire. The position is on-site 3 to 4 days per week to start, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule after ramp-up.
