Qualifications

• 1–3 years in defense of personal injury litigation.
• Strong civil litigation background with exposure to medical malpractice.
• CA State Bar membership in good standing.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conducting legal research and analysis.
• Attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Reviewing and evaluating medical records and expert reports.
• Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
• Developing case strategy in collaboration with supervising attorneys.
• Participating in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, court rules, and procedural requirements.
